What is tailgating?  Well…the internet dictionary says it is “To participate in a picnic that is served from the tailgate of a vehicle, as before a sports event.”

Each season we support our Varsity team at away games with tailgating events. 

How do the MHS Spartans tailgate??

• Arrive at away site 1 hour prior to game time
• Bring tables, EZ-ups to setup near where our team bus parks
• Bring food/drinks/paper-goods (etc) to share with families and friends prior to game time
• After the game, bring out the food/drinks to share in a buffet style with the players, coaches and families.

This year we only have two away games during the day, the rest are on evenings. Watch your e-mail and the web site a day or two before each game for specifics about the tailgating event.  There will be times when we will not be able to  tailgate for a variety of reasons (ie. hosting school will not allow, etc). 

So mark your calendar for the following dates and stay tuned!
